The Minister of Sports meets the Board of Directors of the Federation of Sports

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, met with the Board of Directors of the Federation of Darts, headed by Dr. Yahya Eid Al-Qader; To review the efforts made by the Union, and the support it needs in the coming period.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Youth and Sports stressed the need to intensify efforts to spread the game more widely within youth centers and sports facilities at the level of all parts of the Republic, pointing out that the Ministry would provide the required support to the Federation in the coming period.
The Minister called on the Federation’s board of directors to think of innovative mechanisms that enhance the Federation’s own financial resources to provide it with an appropriate income to spend on the Federation’s various events and activities. Consideration should be given to implementing major sports festivals with the participation of the private sector as sponsors in light of spreading the game.
Dr. Ashraf Sobhi listened to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Darts Union about the tournaments that have been participated in in the last period of the Republic’s championships and the Online World Cup for Darts, and the organization of the first online Darts League.
The meeting also touched on the efforts exerted at the level of procedures for establishing the Arab Federation and the African Federation of Darts, as well as the union’s desire to establish an academy for Darts in the Sheraton club branch.
The Board of Directors of the Federation of Darts expressed thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Youth and Sports for his permanent support for the Federation and his clear contribution to publicizing the Federation to spread this sport within the community.
